Patrick Ole's Web Development Portfolio
In 2015 I enrolled in Long Beach City College. My first classes were general education: Weight Training, Logic, English, Anthropology, Marine Biology, Human Nutrition, US Government, IT Concepts & Apps, US History and Astronomy. I completed math including College Algebra and Geometry at College of the Desert.
Next, I took classes to fullfill requirements for an Associates Degree, first in Human Services and finally in the Web Development field. I completed the course work for an Associate's of Science in Web Development fall 2019 and will participate in the annual graduation ceremony - spring 2020.
Two of my COSComputer & Office Studies Web Development classes, spring 2018, offered Microsoft Technology Associate or MTAMicrosoft Technology Associate exams at the end of the semester. They were:
- MTA: Introduction to Programming Using HTML and CSS
Fall 2019, I was a member of a campus club, Code Vikings. I also served as Secretary and InterClub Counsel Representative (Senater). At the end of the semester, we had the opportunity to take the MTAMicrosoft Technology Associate: HTML5 Application Development Fundamentals.
Updating my web development skills at LBCC has been amazing! The internet was released to the public in 1993, and my development in the field began a couple years later, in 1995. From the humble beginning, to what it has evolved into today, the Internet is an example of science fiction becoming reality. Learning the skills required for web development today has been beneficial! If you'd like to know more, please read my about page.
